Just a few days left!

There are only a few days left until Easter Sunday!

Are you prepared? You might want to start making out your menus and prepare your shopping lists from those.

Does the Easter Bunny come to your house? He does here. So, do you need to prepare for Peter Cottontail's arrival too? Make a list!!

Lists are our friends. Say that outloud: Lists are MY friends!

Now, when you go to the store - GET that list out and USE IT!! hahaha

Don't forget that list!

You might want to also check your local grocery stores to see which ones are going to be open on Sunday and which ones are closed. Walmart (here in Louisiana) is staying open. But there are several other grocery stores that will be closed that day.

A grocery store is more frugal than a convenience store for sure. Even if you find what you're looking for in a convenience store, check the "use by date". Lots of time those items are out of date. That wouldn't be very good for your meal, especially if there are guests at your table!

Be prepared!

Check local sale papers for coupons, etc.

Another Cupcake idea or two

I was going to tell you readers that you can also get some Cadbury Chocolate eggs that are absolutely SCRUMPTIOUS, and instead of peeps, put 3 or 5 little Cadbury eggs in a nest built using the green colored coconut.

Or you can also color your frosting beautiful pastel colors and frost the tops of your cupcakes. When they are set together, it just looks so springy and Eastery!! hahaha

Easter Cupcakes

Last year or year before, my daughter Lydia and I made cupcakes for Easter.

They turned out sooo cute!

We made cupcakes using a yellow box mix.

Then we frosted with white icing. We had coconut and dyed it green using food coloring.

Then, for the finishing finale - we topped the cupcakes with a yellow, chicken peep!!

They're a lot of fun to make and fun to serve as well!

"TIE" dying eggs

I am going to post a link that has the funnest idea of coloring Easter eggs! Wait till you see this!
